After a quick trip to the bathroom I returned to bed and the still sleeping form of my lover, and gave the rope a tug. A couple of minutes later Hassa... himself appeared, followed by one of the blue men carrying an even larger silver tray than last night, bearing our breakfast. He placed it on the low table in the window nook, and withdrew. He took a few steps forward, so that he was nearly touching Julie, who was leaning forward against the side of the car. “W . . . what are you doing, sir?” The trooper who was at least six inches taller than Julie and outweighed her by about sixty pounds, advanced toward her until she was trapped against the car, her hands cuffed behind her. “Miss, you drive out here dressed like some kind of high-toned slut.” Julie. I had to catch myself, force myself to slow and simply follow Schumacher through the chicane. Yet, I was able to go deeper before braking, drawing my nose almost directly underneath his rear wing. The draft was intense, and I very nearly pulled out to try to make the pass, but the run to the First Lesmo was definitely too short for that tactic to be successful, especially since Schumacher was hugging the right side of the track to protect the upcoming corner. Patience… We simply played.
